    I have used these releases for 5+ years and have had great success even in choppy water. You can adjust the tension by moving the spring.

    Great for Trophy Striper Fishing

    Use these to hold the lines on planner boards with fairly heavy umbrella rigs trailed w/ 4oz - 6oz parachute rigs. Use them fishing for spring Trophy Striper in the Chesapeake Bay. Highly recommended.

    I use these releases when I fish Lake Ontario both in the spring and in the fall. I have found the lighter ones work great in the spring when i troll smaller spoons and use the medium size in the fall for salmon. the medium ones work ok when using dipse's but i would recommend the heavier release for those. great releases would not use any others.
