As part of its black-powder firearms designed for civilians, Colt introduced pocket revolvers, so named because they could easily fit into a coat pocket. The .31-caliber, five-shot revolver features seven-groove rifling, a case-hardened frame, brass backstrap and trigger guard. One-piece walnut grip. Blued finish. Barrel length: 4". Overall length: 9-1⁄2". Weight: 1-1⁄2 lbs.
I own several BP revolvers and this one is my favorite. However, I offer one suggestion: Replace the nipples with stainless steel ones that won't carrode. Cabelas sells the SS nipples in a seperate package, ask for them.
