Pietta Model 1858 New Army .44 Caliber Revolver

The Remington Model 1858 was one of the most powerful and rugged performers of its day. Easily removable/replaceable cylinders make reloading extremely fast. These realistic reproductions boast a polished brass trigger guard and walnut grips. Also available in a more compact version with all the legendary accuracy and dependability of the classic 1858.  The 5-1/2" barrel makes it easier to holster and handle.

Super Buy for a handy BP Revolver

I am sold on Cabela's BP guns. I now have five cap and ball revolvers. I have used the Colt 1860s and the Remington full size revolver in hunting and for Cowboy shoots. I had to buy the 5 1/2 inch remington to be my cross draw second revolver. It is just as nice as the full size and I can't wait for the temps to get in the 20's to bring it out to the range!

Excellent pistol for the money

Pistol was on backorder for about a month but when it came in it was worth the wait .i also ordered a 45 long colt conversion for the pietta 1858 and it slipped right in the pistol fires great .i would recommend this item to anyone .

Several friends of mine and myself have owned this pistol and find it to be a very accurate shooter! I recommended this to anyone looking at buying a cap and ball revolver and wants a shorter barrel.
