Modeled after the favorite sidearm of Wild Bill Hickok, one of the most cunning and colorful gunfighters of the West, this .36-caliber version of the reliable 1851 Navy is embellished with faux ivory handles for an authentic charm. Starter Kit includes: nipple wrench, powder measure, 2-oz. bottle of Cabela’s Black Powder Pistol Lube, a powder flask, 30 lead roundballs, and 30 felt powder wads.

I have owned the 1851 Navy for less than a year, but have had a great time shooting it. I was skeptical about purchasing on-line, but am very happy I did. This is an outstanding replica and all-round fun gun that I would recommend to black powder and Civil War enthusiasts . The only challenge for me was finding real black powder due to local restrictions and lack of places selling such where I live. However, once again, Cabela\u2019s was the solution for me \u2013 no Cabela\u2019s where I live but just a short drive to a store in a bordering State. Also, while visiting the Hazlewood, MO store, I mentioned that I had recently purchased this Pietta replica and the staff went out of their way to provide tips for safety, accuracy, and maintaining the firearm. Thanks Team Cabela\u2019s!!

1851 Wild Bill navy 36 are the best.

I have been shooting a pair for 6 years now. they are the best by far as I have been able to claim 1st place title in several State matches in my category. I have replaced bolts, hands, springs several times over the years and for accuracy they won me a Turkey for bulls eye shooting this Nov 2010 over some mighty good shooters and some real expensive cartage revolvers. I own 4 of the Wild Bills & 3 reg 1851 pieatta in the caliber they were ment to be .36. Thank you Cabelas for carring them.
