Patterned after the pocket and parlor pistols of the late 1800s, this compact handgun is both fun and inexpensive to shoot. Simply load a 209 primer and a 4.5mm BB or a .177-caliber pellet and it’s ready for action. The barrel is rifled with 12 grooves for consistent accuracy. Features include a spur trigger and solid steel action. Barrel length: 3-1/8". Overall length: 5".
I've been looking at this little pistol for some time. I felt comfortable knowing the quality Pendersoli produces in other weapons, so when I found it was on sale just couldn't resist! I had no expectations as to the power or accuracy as this pistol is described as a derringer and is only .177 cal......Oh what a surprise! and what fun to shoot. The "phone book test" was quite impressive. Especially with heavier wad cutter style or copper plated high velocity pellets. Only wish there was a rear sight.....Altogether a fun to shoot, highly functional "tiny caliber" pistol.
Very nice quality in both fit and finish. Several other reviewers complained of the quality but mine is first rate. I would recommend this gun just for its uniqueness. A good addition to any collection of unusual guns.
Nicely made derringer, Fun to shoot and load, Surprisingly loud, NOT A TOY!! At 5 feet a .17 caliber lead ball pentrated 260 pages of phone book(approx. 3/4 inches) and dented 80 more pages.this being average of 3 shots. I will consider the rifle version next. Thanks Cabela's for best price!
