UDAP #18 CP Super Magnum Bear Spray with Chest Holster
The largest bear deterrent registered by the EPA
Hottest bear spray formula available at 2.0% CRC
Feel more secure and capable of defending yourself. The Magnum PD is a 13.4-oz. canister of potent pepper spray that
will deter any assailant. 35-ft. fog spray pattern. Highest amount of spray volume. Chest holster included.
I bought my bear mace for hunting trips & backpacking. The fit & finish of the holster is simple & efficient. It fits over your shoulder & across the chest for easy access. While in the holster you can pull it out quickly or spray from the holster if you had to. When local gun laws permit you from caring a pistol this is your next best defense.
The old adage, “prepare for the worst, and hope for the best” perfectly explains the need and value of this product. Just like a fire extinguisher; the best you can hope for is that it just collects dust and isn’t needed. However, if you need it, you need it right now! And, if you don’t have it when you need it, it’s too late.
I’ve had multiple containers of a similar product for the last 15 years, having never used them, but nonetheless, was way overdue to replenish anew.
This is the product I choose to have with me (and insist my wife does also) at all times when in any environment where “things can happen” and one may need a non-lethal deterrent.
Worth every penny. You don’t have to be a Boy Scout to understand the maxim “be prepared.
I have used UDAP bear spray on 3 occasions over the years. Twice to stop grizzly charges on the eastern Mountain Front of northern Montana and once to stop an aggressive cow moose while working in a remote location on the edge of the "Bob" in Montana. Moose can be almost more unpredictable than bears. This stuff works! If you work, hunt or play in serious bear country you need to carry it immediately accessible. I like the largest can with the chest holster. Put it on before you shoulder your pack and you can pop the safety and release the charge without even removing it from the holster. My experience over 30 years has taught me it is more effective than a large caliber hand-gun, in my opinion...and doesn't leave wounded and dangerous animals. It is nasty stuff but the animal gets a severe dose aversion therapy and quickly recovers. In either case, one has to keep your wits because it happens so very fast.
