I first bought one for a 2000 F-150 5.4L and it improved the mileage from 14 to 17 MPG. The engine also actually reved up. And the transmission did not hunt as much. I traded it off on an Chevy 1500HD 6.0L that gets 13 MPG. With the hypertech it gets 14.5. I upgraded it to the Max energy and installed in on my 99 Suburban 3/4 ton with a 454. It got a solid 10 MPG. With the Hypertech it gets 12.5 to 14 depending on wind speed. They have worked great for me. Yes, it's only a couple of MPGs but its 10 to 20% improvement. I only have good things to say about Hypertech.

No Large Gains

I didn't or haven't seen any large gains in fuel mileage from this programmer. Only about one half a mile per gallon on the first tank after installation. Didn't really notice any performance differences either.

Purchased this for my Tahoe and my gas milage went the other way. So i would highly recomend that you dont buy this item. I will be sending this back, for the money you would think it would work at least ok but i was totally suprised i would think you would at least get .00002 better per gallon.

This product did nothing to my trucks performance at all.I tried it for about 3 wks. and could not tell any difference.
