I'm using the 10.5 gr ultra mags in a high velocity air rifle. This is the best ammo I've tried in my air rifle, it may not be as fast as lighter lead or alloy pellets, but they're very accurate and consistent; doesn't matter how fast the pellet is if I'm not hitting anything.

Just bought a RWS 5G Magnum pistol and Ultra mag .177
The accuracy is right on. the right pellet for the right gun/combo is a success already. I was lucky to listen to SO MANY experts before buying the gun or ammo that I finally chose. Cabela's has been pretty good to me.

Lousy pellets

These .177 pellets were too tight in the chamber of my air rifle. Each one had to be pushed in with force. As a result they flew all over the place, making no group at all. By contrast the Crosman pellets I use in the same rifle make a tight one to two inch group at 25 yards, and often strike right in the bullseye, which the Cabela's pellets never even came close to doing.

hollow point pellets

the hollow point pellets are great they retain good acuaracy and have tons of stopping power with and old 500fps rifle i almost put it through 1/3inch plywood (and this is with a gun i found on the side of the road) flat ended pellets i was dissapointed with they lost velocity and penetration but still maintained accuaracy haven't tried the other 2 yet
