i bought this to clean the threads of my bone collector, and as i tried to thread it in, the plastic threads just would not catch, and it just crossed threaded, and ended up being useless.

This nifty little tool makes perfect sense. But in reality an old tooth brush will serve you better. It's a neat idea but just isn't required. I love gadgets and it seemed like such a great idea at the time. But really, an old tooth brush does a better job and if you have good dental hygene there is always a ready supply of replacements available.

Unfortunately the threads on the cleaner did not match those of my Thompson "Bone Collector" so the product is useless. The information in the catalog indicated the item would work with all Thompson muzzle-loaders. I can assure you it did not. To return such an item would be a waste of time and money.
