They Once Were Better

I'll start with what I like about the redesigned jeans. The zipper is longer which makes restroom visits easier. The down side to the longer zipper is that distance from waist to crotch is now longer which restricts leg movement. Let your pants sag down two to three inches and then try mounting a horse. The other thing I like is that the watch / coin pocket was reduced in size. This allows me to reach coins clear to the bottom of the pocket. the downside to this was that the openings of the front pockets were also reduced. Now my extra large glove sized hand barely fits. The other problems I have with the new design are, the cuffs of the legs are now smaller so that they bind on my calves before I can pull on crew socks, and the extra belt loops on either side of the zipper. I recognize that my complaints stem from my large size, 2xl shirt size, 13 4E shoe size, 6' 2" height, etc. Someone with a more average build would probable find them quite comfortable.
