Cabela's 2-in-1 Outdoor Pants II

A second take on our popular convertible original with the updates you requested. The shorts now have a longer 8" inseam for more coverage. Waist has a single-button closure and a rear flexible waist-adjustment system for a superior fit. Toughness is packed in these safari-ready pants, like the reinforced seat and double-track-stitched outseams. 12" ankle zippers for easy on and off over boots. Plenty of pockets include two spacious bellows front cargo pockets, two zippered rear pockets, a front button-flap utility pocket and a rear button-flap knife pocket. Lightweight 6-oz. 100% cotton is made for the bush and equally adept for leisurely pursuits. Machine washable. Imported.

I understand, somebody's always wants it like it was. However, I've got good reasons for NOT ordering more of your zip-off pants. I'm short, and 8" inseam shorts are below my knees. So why buy shorts? and for the same reason, zippers in the zip-off legs make them useless. I can't have them altered to my 27 1/2 inseam. I've worn your zip-off for years, and now I'll have to find another brand.

GOOD CHOICE FOR KNEE SURGERY

I RECENTLY HAD MY RIGHT KNEE REPLACED AND NEEDED TO WEAR SHORTS TO ALL DOCTOR VISITS. THIS INCLUDED PRE SURGERY, POST OP, AND PHYSICAL THERAPY VISITS. THESE PANTS WERE A REAL HIT WITH EVERYONE AT THE APPOINTMENTS AND WERE A GODSEND FOR ME IN THE COLD WEATHER. I ORDERED SIZE 42 (USUALLY WEAR A 40) AND HAVE NEVER PUT THEM IN THE CLOTHS DRYER. THE PANTS FIT FINE.

Really BAD Sizing!

The reviews are somewhat mixed on these pants so I ordered a size larger...but, forget it! Two sizes larger MAY fit me but they have a strange high waisted cut and the material is very thin. I'm sending these back for a refund, should have listened to the guy who bought two pairs in larger sizes and neither one fit him or his buddy anyway.

These pants are excellent. Comfortable as can be. As far as the sizing it is perfect. I have not experienced and shrinkage in the pants at all, and I dried them both ways of air drying to using the High Heat setting on the dryer.. They are very well built, very comfortable and very functional from my experience. I have traveled all over Europe with these pants with no problems. I ordered one pair in every color.
