Great jig
Date:
The jig is great but flooding has postponed my fishing for another 2 to 3 weeks.

Eagle Claw Weedless Crappie Jigheads

These jigs work well when the crappies are aggresive. When less aggresive, trim a couple of the guards off to make hook sets easier.

Solid, inexpensive jigs
Date:
These small weedless jigs are really good for the money. You get a small jig for smaller presentations with a weed guard you can trim up however you want. Has thin guage wire hook that penetrates well. Landed a couple 4 plus pound smallmouth on one of these jigs and the hook held up fine on 8lb line with proper drag pressure, so definitely no worries for panfish or trout. Only reason I didn't give them a 5 is because the lead is a little sloppy on a few but hey, their inexpensive and do the job. The hooks can withstand any pressure you put on them with light spinning tackle.
