Cabela's 24-Piece Marabou Natural Colored Panfish/Trout Jig Kit

No tackle box would be complete without this kit. Marabou gives incredibly lifelike action to draw strikes from trout, crappie and many other panfish. The small size of these finesse jigs lets you get back into the nooks and crannies where fish are waiting in ambush. Kit contains 24 jigs. Two of each of the 4 colors in each size: 1/64, 1/80 and 1/100 oz.

2 hrs. of Mo. Urban Winter Trout with "colorful ".

Having re-outfitted a 6.6 ultralt. rod w/ a Cabelas supplied .reel,4lb.flourocarb.,&"colorful" Marabou jig kit I took the short drive to A.Busch. conservation area Lk. 28 (catch&release til Feb.).Past trips have always proved successful with artificial lures capable of 3.6ft.+ to 5ft. fishing.(ex.sm.spoons,hvy.jigs,wtd.spinflies, & even to my surprize a tiny lipless crankbait .All counted

down to 4 or 5.Trying new tricks is always fun so I rigged "crappiestyle" under a slip float @ 4'+.Thinking all my bases were covered I tied on deep red jig & watched out as far as I could cast.Nip!Nip! Pow!Trying to set the hook was futile again & again!Np!Np!Pw! -
Therewas a severe cross wind bowing my line ----Lure works great no doubt about it period!!After 64 yrs. this fisherman's skills are & remains a work in progress!!With Cabelas help I am improving.Colorful-option Cab.Jig Kit.it's a sweetie.Mother Nature not-so-much!

great hooks

They are light hooks and sink slow. The feather stay on a long time. Have ordered these several times.

Cabela's marabou Trout jigs

Tie one of these tiny jigs to 2-lb test and cast it to trout bunched up at the inlets of creeks running into your favorite lake and watch how the trout just slid up to the jig as it slowly sinks and suck it in. When the fish are shy of larger lures these do the trick!!
