Great Splash Deck!

I purchased this item for my Old Town Vapor 10XT Kayak (size 5.0-7.0). I was worried it wouldn't fit my kayak but it fits perfectly and is nice and tight around the cockpit. I'm a die hard fisherman and kayak fishing has made fishing even better. There are two main reasons why I purchased this product. One is to block the sun on those hot summer days and help keep out water and bugs. Last year I took the kayak out on a hot summer day and got 2nd degree burns on my legs because I was wearing shorts and had nothing covering my legs. My legs were swollen for days and had to miss a few days of work. The second reason I purchased thid product was for more storage. The splash deck has a zipper mesh pouch which I put fishing stuff in. Tackle boxes, tools, snacks, clothing or whatever you want to take on your trip. I can now wear shorts and fish comfortably knowing my legs won't get sunburned. I can store more stuff on my kayak all within arms reach. I can fish all day long and be completely comfortable and being comfortable allows me to catch more fish. Purchase this item and you'll love it. It's a must for any fisherman out there!
My brother in law came over too see it after I bought it and put it on my kayak. After looking at it for a second he said he wanted one for his Vapor 10XT. Buy it!
