Olive drab paddle
Date:
I did a lot of research on what paddle to use while I duck hunt out of my layout boat. I love these paddles. They are tough and well built for when I need to push off in really shallow water or when I need to cram my boat into the marshes. I like the fact I can break them down to hide better or store in my boat. They float great for when they fall into the water and they paddle wonderfully. I highly recommend them if you need a solid, safe paddle for hunting. I only wish I would have bought them shorter for my 44 inch wide boat. I bought a 7 1/2 foot long instead of a 7 footer. The shorter the better or you use more energy/muscle than you have too. The drip guards work wonderful for me too. After reading a few negatives on the drip guards I was concerned, but this has not been my experience. For hunting I would highly recommend these.

QUALITY PADDLES
Date:
I own both the 96" double-ended kayak paddle and the 60" single-ended canoe paddles. The canoe paddles are durable, not too heavy, and overall a simple and good quality product. I use them every weekend. The kayak paddle is the same quality but the design does not work as well for a kayak paddle since a lot of water sticks to it and runs into the boat and all over your hands. The rubber drip guards don't actually work. But because the canoe version is so great I still give them 5 stars.

Olive Drab Paddles

They are what I expected from Cabela's! Quality and durability. They held up in the marshes of the East Coast as well as the flooded swamps along the Cape Fear River Basin. The toughness of these paddles surpassed my expectations.

Nice light kayak paddles, and good color for duck hunting. My only beef with this paddle is that water drips off the end of the paddle and travels down the paddle handle on to my hands. Cabela's needs to install or sell larger rubber guards for each end of this paddle so water will stay in the water and not get all over your hands.
