Our paddles are made from hand-selected hardwoods and have various resin configurations on the blades to protect them during use and transport. All shafts are 1-1/8" x 1-1/4" oval, and the Cabela's logo is proudly displayed on the face of the blades. Bent Shaft Paddle has wraparound resin on a 21" x 8" blade. 14° angle to shaft.

I just got done beating the h-e-double hockey sticks out of this paddle for a week in Quetico Provincial Park (northwoods of Canada). there is no cell phone service and no quick way to get help so durability is a must. through rapids and shallow rocky streams this paddle held up with nary a scratch. the only thing i would do to improve upon this solid and ergonomic design is to add a fiberglass blade wrap, which i did myself before the trip. im looking forward to many more years of adventure with this paddle.

Great wood and look but.

The paddles work great. Very efficient in the water. The only thing that was a slight disappointment to me was the finish was of poor quality. The polyurethane was rough in spots. This caused the logo to appear smeared. Again this was only aesthetic, the performance of the paddles is great.

The paddles are light weight and durable. The handles are oversized and easy to hold. I have used them in streams in NE Iowa, BWCA, and Lake Michigan without any issues.
