This is my first pack and so far I love it! It has tons of pockets which is awesome and is very adjustible which is great to. I love that it has a place for your tent and sleeping bag. Only issue I have with it is being a girl it's a little heavy but overall it's awesome! Can't wait to start using it!

Entry Level
Date:
This was a nice back back for a beginner. I liked the extra size to carry more food on longer hunts, but it was heavy, the support/harness systems and material was no comparison to the $400 and up packs that went on the trip. One of the shoulder straps started to tear away a little at the top seam. It doesn't affect the load because its not a support point but wouldn't have expected it with Kelty's reputation. It's fine for occaisional use, but for hard core guys I would spend a couple hundred more and get what you pay for.

Best internal frame pack
Date:
After spending a lot of time researching where I wanted to spend my money for a backpack, I went with the Kelty Red Cloud 6650, this pack is awesome, it has a ton of pocket and plenty of room for anything you could need with you on the trail, this pack has a solid construction, very durable all around and is everything you should look for when buying a pack. However the only small problem that I have with it, is that there is not a spot for your water bladder to be held up and in place, there is only a mesh pocket for it to sit in and no designated spot for the hose to exit the pack, it has to be snaked through however you want it, and there isn't really a designated clip on the shoulder strap to hold the hose in place so it doesn't flop around. Other than that I have no problems with the pack and that issue isn't one that deterred me from making the purchase, I still love the pack and it was a great investment.
