The QuickDraw 360HT Rod Holder sports a unique pivoting design that actually helps set the hook by keeping tension on the fish. Since the inside tube pivots, it is twice as easy to remove the rod compared with conventional holders. Use the top cradle for casting and trolling rod/reel combos or the bottom slot for spinning combos. Since the innovative design positions rods at the optimum angle to the water, it performs perfectly with
light spinning gear when drifting and still-fishing as well as with heavier
gear when trolling.
Color: Sand.
We are so confident in our rod holders, we make a very unusual offer for this day and age. We invite you to field test any of our Cabela's rod holders for a period of 60 days. Finger Lakes Fisher,June 5, 2009
By CopperPullerfrom Finger Lakes, NY
"Great design, holds larger bait casters firmly and prevents rods from rotating in rod holder. Seems to be very strong, enough so to feel comfortable using to troll with magnum size dipsys. The only fault I have found is the 2 pins that allow tube to hinge protrude through tube. This becomes a problem if you are using a newer trolling rods with a larger rear grip. Rod can become stuck in tube or slight damage to rear grip can occur from pins gouging into sides of grip. I was able to push pins out slightly and still leave enough in tube to feel comfortable that they would not come off."

Great for the Kayak,March 24, 2009
By SooperSniperfrom Eglin Air Force Base, Florida
"I purchased 2 of these rod holders for my kayak as per a recommendation from a friend. They work great to stealthily remove and replace the fishing rods without making a lot of noise. I chose the no base option as I wanted to install them on a preexisting 3 rod holder bar made from another manufacture, perfect fit. I will be purchasing 2 more soon for the back of my Kayak. Great service, fast shipping, great product."

Flush Mount Adaptor,November 19, 2008
By Nohufrom Honolulu, HI
"I have equipped my Boston Whaler with Lee's Vertical Mount Rod holders (chromed brass), which I salvaged from my 22' boat before I gave it away. Since I do a lot of deep sea trolling, and my present boat is not large enough to mount outriggers, I needed rod holders which would angle the rods outside of the boat wake. The combination of Quick Draw rod holders with the Flush Mount Adaptors did the trick. The Quick Draw allowed me to use my old Penn 6/0 reels with hardwood rod butts with gimble nocks on the ends. The Quick Draw allows me to remove the rod from the holder without having to reach too far outboard with the risk of dropping the rod overboard whenever getting a strike. The largest fish I have landed with my 6/0 outfits was a 250# Striped Marlin."

not so great.......,October 22, 2008

"The quick draw rod holder didn't have a snug fit in the adapter, and the quick draw did not easily release the rod as described. Very disappointed. Sent them back."

By Ulnitsfrom Denmark
"Simply one of the best - if not THE best - rod holder of all times. It does what it promises: Holds your rod securely when you need it. And lets go as reliably as it grips! Have four for my boat by now!"

Strength,June 5, 2007
By Havikeyefrom Milwaukee, WI
"I've been using 6 of these rod holders fishing for salmon & trout on Lake Michigan and walleye on Winnebago. 4 flush mounts and 2 rail mounts. These are so easy to use and stow when finished. I was concerned of the strength while using them out the side with 9 foot dipsy rods trolling at 3 mph but they proved to have strength to spare, even when a 25 pound King struck hard. PHWEW!! The flush mounts are barely noticeable when out tubing or swimming with the kids. They were fairly easy to install. I will be buying a fuill set for my Brothers boat to upgrade his old school technology. I also recommended these to my neighbor who just bought a new 20 foot ranger and didn't want to drill holes. He installed 4 rail mount rod holders for trolling and drifting. Nothing but praise for the product."

Versatil and well built,November 30, 2006
By GChunterfrom Garden City, NY
"I bought a pair of these for my aluminum boat and used the oar lock mounts. These rod holders are very adjustable allowing me to set the angle properly for long line trolling or using Dipsey divers. They are very strong and easily handled the drag created when trolling a Dipsey. The oar lock mounts were also very solid and I had no problems with the holder shifting or coming loose.
The quick draw feature is great, if any of you have tried removing a rod from a holder in rough water with a salmon hooked on a Dipsey rod you know how awkward it can be. Simply lift on the rod and the holder releases making it much easier to slide the rod out of the holder."
