New Bug Shield,

"I just finished putting this bug shield on my new '06 F-150. It fit perfect. There were already two holes drilled in my hood, I don't think they were factory holes. Anyway, I did not have to drill since the holes were there. You do have to loosen the bolts that hold the grill on. I did it by myself, if you could have a second pair of hands to help with the install, it would be beneficial. I only gave it 4 stars because I really haven't had it on long enough to evaluate it. It was easy to install and it looks great. I would recommend at this point to anyone."

"With a title like Bug Deflector you would expect that it would perform as named, well it doesn't. I chose this model for it's sleek look and easy installation and that part works as advertised.
The only thing it doesn't do as advertised is Deflect the bugs"

"This product fit my 1998 Chevy 1/2 ton perfectly. I doesn't require any drilling ( self drilling screws included ). It does take a few extra days to come from the maufacturer, but it was well worth the wait."

"The product itself fits good and the holes match. I was slightly displeased that no mounting hardware came with the bugshield. I had to go to an autoparts store and purchase the plastic grommets and screws. Cabelas shipping is excelent, the product came 2 days sooner than estimated."

"This product did not fit the designated connection points on the underside of the hood. I had to either expand the hole or create a new hole to be able to connect the shield. After that it worked fine. I was replacing an identical product which had become damaged and it fit perfectly, so there should be no reason for this particular shield to be so different, but it was."
