"Nice, heavy duty stocking cap. Just wish Scent Lok would start making the baseball hats in blaze orange. I called them and they said they won't make them. Too Bad, as most states mandate blaze orange and a sunny day ruins the vision."

"This thing is thick, warm, and as far as I can tell really keeps scent from escaping. The only down fall is that is so thick that hearing can be difficult, but not impossible."

"I tried on my Cabela's Scent-Lok Fleece Stocking Cap this weekend before washing it and storing it in my tote of hats, socks and gloves until hunting season opens. It fit very well and was very comfortable. I am looking forward to using it in conjunction with my thin antimicrobial style balaclava when the temperatures start to cool down. This will give me two layers of scent protection plus warmth. I could feel the warmth the hat generated as I was wearing it."

"I used this product on a day w/ temps in the mid teens sitting in a tree stand from pre-dawn to about 11 AM. I used it as a top layer over a silk facemask . Though not cheap it is very effective and keeps you very warm."

"This thing is very soft and with the XL size it fits over my hat with no problems. Its warm but not so warm as to cause you to sweat. I wish I would have bought 3 or 4."

Great hat -- BUT only for small heads,

"I ordered this for my dad for Christmas. When he opened it, he was really excited by the product's offerings, but the hat wouldn't fit on his head! He was able to squeeze it on but said he felt like it was cutting off the circulation. Granted, my father is a round-headed guy, but his head's not abnormally big -- he's onlly 5'10. Perhaps the tightness is part of the scent-shield, but it was unwearable."

"As usual, cabela's made a quaility product here, but I had to send mine back. I wear a 7 5/8 fitted ball cap so I went with the L/XL in this product. The only reason I sent this back is b/c it didn't cover my ears totally...kinda short."

"Cap was very warm and comfortable. Finally a cap that fits my big head! Scentlok was a big plus and the reason I bought...great price...my only wish is that it could be a little more breathable to prevent sweating with activity, but still breaths fairly well and dries very quickly if you take it off your head for a few minutes."
