removable quick-release mooring straps on each side help eliminate stress and rub areas that could
damage your boat's finish. All covers come complete

"It might be just me, but I have a hard time with the ratchets. I can't seem to release them. Also there are no instructions that come with it. Because ther is no tie down with the motor cover, I had to improvise and I lost it along the highway."

"We bought a 17' cover for our 16' Smoker Craft which we take on the dusty back roads in Canada. The cover performed better than I expected with little to no dust getting in the boat. We have a a trolling motor and power anchor on the bow which the extra foot of length was enough for a good snug fit. The motor cover is way larger than needed for our Mercury 50 - 4 stroke and is our only complaint."

"I recently purchased the ratchet lok cover in hopes it would be an economical solution to not having one. I placed it on my boat and secured it per the instructions. After removing the cover, to my horror, the paint on my black, back troller was badly scratched. The boat never left my garage. I discovered the nylon straps ends, where sewn into the seam, were melted to prevent fraying. When the ratchet was used to tighten the cover, the melted ends scratched the paint substancially. I guess you get what you pay for. Dont buy this cover. Have a custom cover made, and get the job done right."

"I ordered one of these (16'x72") to cover my (exactly) 16'x72" aluminum tiller steer (Mirrocraft 1615) open boat. It fit well and looks great but easily could have fit a boat that was 6" longer/wider. (I have 10" all around the sides of it left.) I'm very impressed with the quality of the material and construction. The material is HD and reinforced at stress points. You can see why they warranty it for 6 years! That said, there are a few minor gripes to note. First, the "one size fit's all" motor cover is like a circus tent. At least for the tiller /open boat models, you'd think they could have downsized to fit a 25-50 hp. I could fit 2 of my 30hp 4 strokes in there. Second, the (2) ratchet locks ( used only to tighten the circumference strap), really don't fit anywhere at the transom where they end up. Your on your own here as there are no directions. They are also large and cumbersome to operate ( partially because they are nicely padded). Lastly, I while I like the idea of the (7) removable nylon straps that secure the cover to the trailer, I question the longevity of the nylon snap buckles. Under cold temps and stressed loads, I could see them cracking. That said, it's Cabala's so I'm sure they would send me replacements without question."
