"I had bought several pair of the Dayton shorts a few years ago and I love them. So naturally when I found a good price on the pants for the upcoming winter, I jumped on it and have not been disappointed. The pants and shorts run true to size, do not shrink up after washing and the fabric is substantial, not thin and flimsy. Have had many compliments on the look of the pants. Cabela's clothing is top notch!!"

"These couldn't be more comfortable unless they attached a recliner to them. I will agree they run small. I bought a size larger than my jeans, and they fit great. Material is heavy enough to be durable, but not so heavy it is cumbersome."

Nice Woodland Color, Not So Great Fit,

"I ordered these pants in the lovely Woodland color. The fit around the waist and hips was good, and the drawstring made the gap in the back disappear. However, they were very baggy in the seat and in the thighs. Sadly, I will be returning them."

"I've found a new pair of casual pants! They fit nicely and feel slim and attractive without trying too hard. I have a weird fit on my lower half (what woman doesn't?) and often feel like pants will make me look too hippy or too heavy in the thighs, and finding length is rough because I have a pretty short inseam. These pants fit well in all respects! (granted, they are a little long for my legs, but not long enough that I feel I need to hem them) They make me feel taller and lean, and might have to order them in another color, too!"

Would like to love these pants,

"I ordered my usual size 12 the first time, and they were way too small! Could not even zip them. So, I swallowed my pride and returned them for a size 14. They are slightly big and a little baggy and a little too long. I'll try washing them in hot water to see if they'll shrink some. I love the weight and color of the fabric, but am disappointed in the fit. I would really like these to fit well, because they are great pants.
Can't really recommend them to my friends."

"I love these pants. The fit is awesome. I have long legs and have a hard time finding pants that are long enough, and then that don't shrink in the wash after I get to wear them once. These are perfect. And they did well in the laundry after being dried on low heat. Would definitely like more of these!"

"These pants are awesome!! I bought three pair 2 years ago and recently purchased two more pair to take with me on an upcoming Alaska cruise. The old ones look almost as good as the new ones!! They are very comfortable, easy to care for and they pack quite well for vacations. They fit even if you gain or lose a few pounds! They are quite handy for hiking, fishing, everyday wear and garden work too. I highly recommend them to anyone."
