Check the sliding clasp,

"These shorts have one major flaw. I have a small waist so I have to pull the drawstring tight. As I am pulling the drawstring tight the sliding clasp unhooks it self. Then I have to try to reclasp the shorts back together without losing the tightness in the drawstring. It takes a little effort. Other than than that they are a great pair of shorts. I love the snap closures on the back."

"Ordered the next size up from what I usually wear: mistake, runs large! Just do not dry normal size ones in dryer (if you don't like tighter fitting shorts) as they WILL shrink. I like these shorts in my normal size (6), unfortunately no longer available in khaki."

"I can't say enough great things about these shorts! They are durable, comfortable - hitting me right on the hip bone, adjustable with the drawstring, and not binding in the crotch when you're down in the dirt. They clean up great, and the ones I bought this year look as good as the ones I bought last year. One thing is the sizes appear to run small, but if you actually check the chart and measure your butt, they are true to size - it's just they are sized differently from what you might wear in other brands. So if you wear say an 8 in most department store brands, you may need a 10 in this short. Just get out a tape and measure, don't guess, and there will be no unpleasant surprises!"

"These shorts fit perfectly! They sit a little below the waist and are extremely comfortable. I've washed them numerous times and they're holding up quite well. In fact, they feel even better (softer) now that I've washed and worn them so many times! I have the Woodland color, which I expected to be darker brown but sometimes they have a "greenish" tint to them, depending on the lighting. I plan on ordering another pair. I just wish they had more colors!"

Drawstring not adequate,

"As I wrote in another review, I love the drawstring skirt that is similar to these shorts. However, the drawstring is different for the shorts and the shorts tend to ride down as I walk! If they changed the drawstring to a wider one, I think the shorts would be great!"
