"Not a bad pair of outdoor shoes at this price. They are sturdy and look good and keep your feet nice and dry. The light weight and tough traction sole are important when wearing them all day for days on end. The icing on the cake, to me at least, was the comfortable feel and fit right out of the box! Danner did well with these shoes."

"I have the feeling that they will be a good 3 season shoe for the city. Too much insulation makes the feet wet when walking in and out of heated areas. The Gortex will enable you to have dry feet whether you step in a puddle of slush (just stay out of the deep ones) or indoors all day. They are sylish yet sporty. They have cheaper shoes but you get what you pay for and pay for what you get. Danners!"

"I have only been out in these one time, but it was in a down pour and fairly cold as well. I had on a normal weight sock and my feet stayed warm and dry. They were also EXTREMELY comfortable right out of the box. I haven't had them long enough to know how rugged they are, but Danner makes a pretty good boot. Based on only one "field test" I would say buy these boots."
