SHOCKED !!!!!,

"I just received my deluxe clamp -on fishing seat, and I must say "I am very shocked !!!" I thought that I was getting a middle of the road, or mid class seat for my fishing boat. BUT to my surprise I received a GREAT made and HIGH quality seat for very little money.... CABELA"S has a customer for life, if they keep this up... on another note I must compilment the customer service dept. when I received my order in only two days, I have to add. The seats where missing the clamps? so when I called customer service, they where not only truely empathetic to my problem, they rushed out the clamps on an overnight delivery to me... NOW THAT"S CUSTOMER SERVICE, thanks again Cabela's and keep up the good work !!!!"

"The seats are of good quality. The only complaint that I have are the bolts are extremely long and the thumb screws are hard to turn when you get towards the back of the seat. There's also a lot of excess bolt left after they're tightened. I fixed this by cutting off the remainder with bolt cutters."

"I have used boat seats for years. I found the Cabelas seats to be well padded, easy to put on and remove and confortable to fish from. The material should stand up to years of use but as I have only had them out three times time will tell.
I recommmend this product without reservation."

"I put two seats on my 12 ft. jon boat. They were quick and easy to put on ... and they are very comfortable to use. My bench seats must be a little narrower than what the these clamps were designed for, because the bolts poked out past the seats one side. Problem solved with a bolt cutter."

"The seats, once installed work as expected. They are comfortable and appear to be well made.
The installation process is a bit cumbersome. If there were spacers provided to take up the unused space on the mounting bolt, it would be easier to install and to tighten."

"The seats are very comfortable.
The clamps work well but they are a little difficult to tighten
because the wing nuts to clamp them down with are under the seat with just enough room to get a hand in there."

"I purchased these seats for use with my 12' PortaBote. I was amazed at the quality of the product for the price paid. It turns out that they are of seemingly better quality than the swivel pedestal seats that came with my 16' fishing boat. I am not a small guy, yet they are very comfortable. I assume that the swivels on the seats will loosen up with time, which will make them even better. I can't remember EVER being disappointed with any product that I have purchased rom Cablea's, and these seats are an example of why."

"this is a very comfortable and functional seat, but also dangerous if not physically attached to the boat. this seat tipped over backwards on a passanger, and i fell overboard when i reached for my fishing box behind me. otherwise a little thought during installation and you have a good product."
