"Purchased MotorGuide motor about 8 months ago. I fish at least once during the week and I fish every weekend. I've had nothing but problem with this mount. The motor runs great but the mount is NOT worth a hoot. The rubber that holds the shafts gets compressed over time and the motor starts to spin. When it rains good luck! After it starts spinning you loose at least two weekends after it's gets serviced. After two weeks in use the same thing will happen again. Do Not buy if you like to fish. If you like to bring your motor in and out of the shop give it a "spin"."
