Abrasion-resistant nylon linings with AgION™ antimicrobial protection prevents bacteria, odor and fungal growth. The redesigned contoured Ankle Fit helps reduce chafing and creates a snug fit. Cam-Loc™ buckle adjustments combined with expandable back gussets accommodates all calf sizes and keeps rain, snow and other moisture from reaching the inside of the boot. "Saw a friend with similar boots and decided to get a pair of these as well as a pair for my dad. The boots feel like a big giant slipper and offer great comfort no matter what the conditions. I do recommend a good moisture wicking sock like smartwool under either a cotton sock for early season or a thicker wool sock for colder temperatures. I have logged many miles in these boots and they have performed quite well. One minor complaint was that when I would walk up inclines (I hunt in the hilly Appalachians and Blue Ridge Mtns) the rubber on the front of the boot at my ankles would buckle and make a 'pop' sound with each step I took. Not too big of a deal, but for still hunting I cringed with each step I took. Also, the rubber on the boots has started to crack (after 5 years) and I have done a good job of keeping them inside under normal temperatures when not in use. Other than those two things I have to say that these are some pretty fantastic boots. I would suggest ordering 1 size smaller than normal. A size 12 fit very comfortably on my normally size 13 foot."

"I have worn out three pairs of these boots(not because of quality, but due to extensive use), and reccomend them to all of my friends. I do not like anyone else wearing my duds, but because I have bragged so heavily on these boots I have had let a few fiends try on the book and take a small hike while hunting and the result was increased business for Cabelas. I wear my boots during every season and truely enjoy them. Great for fishing, snowmobiling, hunting, hiking etc.. in rough, boggy, rockie, swampy, snowy country. I have a bad ankle, but the boot has a relatively wide base and provides great support for the foot and ankle...no more twists or cricks for me. Although a little heavy, the boot more than compensates as it floats well on muskeg, marsh, has great traction and is comfortable for trecking through snow. I like it, I think you will too..."

"The Burly 18'' ATS are good boots,warm and comfortable.The only draw back the boots are made a whole half size larger than your actual foot size.It dosn't sound like much of a differance but it is (when the boots are made in whole sizes only) My actual foot size is a 13 eee, I ordered 13 m, medium was all the wider they offered,and i had to put two pairs of wool socks on to make them somewhat fit. So I reordered to a 12 M , the boots are alittle snug,but time well tell real fit. If you order these boots thru Cabela's you can't go wrong,the re-order time was way faster than expected and easy to do."

"Everyone says they run big. Well I ordered my normal tennis shoe size (11) and they fit great. There is ample wiggle room in the toes - as there should be with insulated boots you intend to wear in the cold. There is enough contact around the ankle to keep your foot in place. Very comfortable - even while shoveling snow!"

"I've been wearing the Lacrosse Burly a little over a month. So far they are holding up well. I'm a farmer, wading in water and manure all day. We've had some below zero temps, but my feet have stayed warm. I bought another brand similar to these, and they split in several places within a month."

"I've only had the boots during the ice fishing season so far and they have been great. Temps got as low as -17 and my feet stayed a perfect temp. I thought I would have to figure out what socks I would need but I started with regular white cotton socks and I'm still wearing them with the boots. No sweating on the way there and no leaks when I get there. Very comfortable and Great Support around the ankle. I wear anywhere from an 10 and a 1/2 to 11 and a 1/2 depending on brand. I ordered a 10 and it's a great fit. Very pleased, I know these boots will keep me comfortable through the coldest weather."

"Overall a nice pair of boots. A little disappointed at the lack of ankle support. My last pair of Burly 800's had alot more support due to a thicker rubber. Also, like the reviews I've read, the boots are on the bigger size when it comes to finding the correct size. That being said, they are still comfortable to wear and kept my feet very, very warm in the tree stand. Wouldnt want to walk around all day in them, but could spend the day in a stand. Wouldnt recommend ordering them through the mail, would definately want to try them on first...next time!!"
