"I love this coat! I usually wear a large in coats, bought the large to have enough room to wear winter sweaters. It's very comfortable, seems warm ( too early to tell, not winter yet!). Was a little longer than I thought it would be, but that's fine since it'll keep more of my legs warm. Only wish it came in more colors. Bought black, it goes with everything, but would have liked red or purple. As I'm usually colder than everyone else in the winter, I feel confident I'll be warm this year!"

"The 3/4 length down coat is great. I LOVE the weight of it and it is extremely comfortable and warm - just perfect for the damp cold. The biggest down side is the 2 way zipper (unzips from the bottom for ease of driving and sitting). It is very difficult to get zipped at the start. Once zipped, it's great - the 2 way goes up and down with no problems and unzips just as easily - but you need a couple extra minutes to GET it zipped to start. If you don't have that extra time, you'll find that you run out without getting it zipped. I'd still recommend it for the quality and price of the coat itself."

"Here in Vermont we are still experiencing single digit morning temperatures. This coat is heavenly to pull on and even better once I go outside. I like the fact it is long enough to cover to my knees, but not so long it looks like I'm wearing a sleeping bag! The birch color goes with many hats and scarves I already have. The coat can be worn with casual or dressy clothes. Either way you'll be cozy!"

"I bought this coat toward the end of the season in part because it was an awesome value. I also liked the fact that it was not quite as "substantial" as some of the other long down coats on the market. It's very warm (but not too warm for temperatures in the 20s and below), has all the right features, and is about as flattering as a long down coat can be. The interior pocket holds my clunky wallet when I don't feel like carrying a purse into the store (many other inside coat pockets are too small for that). I did not find it to run large, as some reviewers have indicated, but I am broad through the shoulders and tend to wear a couple of indoor layers underneath it (that is, a shirt and a sweater). All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase. It also arrived super fast."

"Wow, do I love this coat! I live in south Texas, and our winters are very mild, and I do not have a frequent need for a really warm coat. However, this winter has been different. I'm originally from Illinois where you don't even think about it....but just put your coat on every time you go outside cause it's so darned cold, where you'd like to burn your coat by the beginning of March.
I've owned a down filled coat in the past, and I loved it. When I saw this coat at Cabela's I loved it because it was "plain". No hood, no fur, chevron stitching for a slimming effect, and the fabric is like silk. This is an exceptional coat. The beauty of a down coat is that it breathes with you....(just like you're the goose - or duck)......If it's really cold outside, you are warm as toast inside this coat. If you're shopping inside a store, you don't get overheated like you often do in a wool coat....because it breathes with you. Best part of all is that it IS light as a feather. Wool coats are just so heavy.
I highly recommend this coat to anyone even considering it. Also, the length is perfect. It handles all the right touches, flannel lined pockets (that zip closed), a stand up or lay down collar, 2 way zipper AND snaps. I give it a 10. It's exactly what I wanted."
