Very warm!,March 10, 2009
By rayosunfrom Dayton, Ohio - Hydro technician
"These gloves are very nice. They are warm and I work outside in below zero teperatures. I bought a woman's size small and they are a little tight, which make it hard to move my fingers, but I think with a bigger sze they would be fine."

Women's Pinnacle Gloves,February 9, 2009
By patty258from Yardley, PA
"These Pinnacle Gloves surprised me. When I first put them on to shovel the driveway, I was kind of disappointed because my fingers still felt cold. However, the longer I stayed outside working, the warmer my hands became. This never happened with the other gloves I used. Generally, my hands would be freezing no matter how hard I was working outside. So overall, I think it is a good glove to use outside for extended periods."

gloves,February 9, 2009
By meversfrom manchester, iowa
"Perfect timing! My gloves arrived just in time for 35 below zero weather. I used them the day they arrived while using my snowblower and they were great. I was able to grip the handles of the snowblower comfortably, yet keep my hands warm long enough to finish the job. I have always had issues with my wrists getting cold because of my regular gloves ending at my wrists. My new gloves extend past my wrists and halfway to my elbow which also prevent frostbite on my skin. Love them!"

Good when your lined leather gloves won't do!,January 29, 2009
By nevefrom Boston area, MA
"If you need to protect yourself from frostbite, or from cold-weather-caused pain in fingers which were frostbitten at some point, these are good gloves. I think that if temperatures are below 15 degrees though, the insulation would see you through not much more than a half-hour until your fingers started to notice the cold--or such is my experience anyway. I bought these gloves for walking the dog in very cold weather and for shoveling snow. They fill the bill. I do find them bulky and can't handle keys, etc. while wearing them--but I'm using them "off label", the bulk obviously serves a purpose, and it is a small trade-off. The gloves stay dry on the inside when it is raining or snowing, and the exterior back dries quickly though the leather palm of course takes loner. I would buy them again."

Dog Walking,January 6, 2009
By MorningDogWalker
"Although the gloves are initially warm, they are less flexible than I had hoped. This makes it difficult to hold the dog leash as we walk early mornings. And the damp cold we experience here in the South does eventurally chill the fingers. Basically, the gloves are bulkier that I like."

Flexible and Warm,December 24, 2008
By DriveOnfrom Bethany, CT
"I bought these gloves so I could continue carriage driving through the winter. I've had a succession of gloves that were flexible enough but not warm, or warm enough but too bulky to be flexible. These finally are the happy medium. I can wear them and still buckle harness. The deerskin palm allows me to manage the lines and whip without slipping. While my fingers still got a bit chilled from being in one position for a long time, these gloves keep my hands warmer than any of the other half-dozen or so brands that I've tried."

"I bought these gloves for the cold Michigan weather and for snowmobiling. They fit perfectly, are not bulky, I can still move my hands and fingers in them. They are very warm, however I have yet to wear them snowmobiling so I can not talk about the water proof aspect of the gloves."

Pinnacle Gloves,September 29, 2008
By Rgarlandfrom Angel Fire, New Mexico
"I haven't had these during ski season yet, and when I opened the package and saw them, my first impression was that they had sent the wrong size and these were for men. However, after trying them on, I love them! They are not too bulky, and have LONG cuffs that will help keep warmth in. Love the design and the palm material. Can't wait to try these for skiing. I am sure they will be great for just general gloves as well, since I spend a lot of time shoveling snow in the winter! Love the way you can tighten the wrists/cuffs down with the velcro straps. And solid black goes with anything!"

great on pack trips,September 7, 2008
By DrDollfrom Colorado
"I took an 8 day horse pack trip with two mules, a horse a donkey and two men. I took care of the equines in the rain. They had one leg tethers and I had to haul water to them also. My hands stayed dry and I was able to keep my hands in the gloves while tying halters and working buckles on the tethers. The gloves kept me warm and dry. They fit tightly so I can use my fingers, and the leather finger tips make them durable."
