50 caliber 245 gr Aerotip Powerbelt,November 4, 2009
By zorconfrom Easton, PA
"I used this bullet to take a bull elk on a recent hunt in New Mexico out to 130 yards. In my Knight KP1, propelled by three whitehots, this bullet flies true. The key is seating the bullet on top of the charge. I'd recommend this bullet to anyone."

GREAT ROUND FOR BUFFALO,October 14, 2009
By noman21from Mankato, MN
"Just got back from the Tripple U Buffalo Ranch in SD and took a 2 and half year-old bull from aprox 110 yards. I was using the hollow point 348gr powerbelt with a 130gr Tripple 7 powder charge. Out of my Remington Genisis 50cal (with extreme easy loading) this set up worked awesome! I was fortunate enough to find the bullet on the opposite side of the bull, between the hide and ribs. It retained 307.5gr. I found another large piece of the bullet which gave me a total weight of 319gr. Which is more than 91 percent retention. The only thing I did not like out of this bullet is that it did not mushroom like a Barnes bullet. It seemed to have hit the rib and half the bullet kept moving while the other half was flattened by the rib. So it basically looks like a door-stop in shape. I will continue to use this round, but I would recommend using the Areo-Tip round instead of the hollowpoint on a big game animal. Something smaller such as a deer, this bullet will work flawlessly."

"These are very accurate and easy to load. I use them with two triple 7 pellets. This combination has killed deer from 10 yds to 150 yds."

Excellent match,October 7, 2009
By clannagaelfrom Ohio
"There is no single bullet or powder combo that will work in every rifle. Even two rifles of the same make and model will shoot the same loads differently. I've been using this 295 grain PowerBelt with 2 Triple7 pellets in my T/C Omega and I can get 5 rounds in a 1" group at 100 yards without swabbing the barrel. I know there are more sophisticated-looking bullets available but I'm not about to change a thing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to anyone using a similar combo. As with any recommendation and rifle combo, your mileage may vary. For me, these are a winner."

Power Beltz 348 grn Aero Tips,September 20, 2009
By eebreecefrom Colorado
"Although these are extremely accurate, they lack significant killing power. In my group this last season hunting Elk, only 1 out of 5 animals that were shot were recovered. All of us were using 348 grain Aero Tip Power Beltz. In 2 cases the animals were knocked off their feet, but got up and never dropped. One was tracked for nearly 3 miles, but the blood was only trailed for 500 yards. All guns were rechecked and were dead on. The shot placements were dead on and should have taken out both lungs. The one kill the bullet went through a rib, heart and exited through the front shoulder. I doubt it ever expanded and looked as if it had been hit by an ammor piercing round. I am going back to a HPHB lead bullet I know will expand and kill."
