"I ordered this along with a bulb for my XPG Xenon 500 lumen flashlight.
It came up as an item "that others ordered" along with this part.
The only problem was, it wasn't for my size lens/flashlight!
Otherwise, it seemed like a good product, and I wish it had fit my light. (Then I wouldn't have sent it back! And likely would have received more stars!)"

"The filter performs just as described.
Used in the woods and could see very well.
Does a a great job preserving night vision.
Good buy.
My only complaint about the transaction was that the shipping cost more than the product."

"This red lens really does help at night, especially in the rain!! It really helps to get rid of the shiny glare and makes it much easier to see. It does, however, reduce output by about 1/4.... Not enough to be a problem."

"when i got my flashlight I put the red filter on, it didnt really impress me because it seemed not as bright, and thats the reason i bought the light for when i go into the woods early in the mornin, when its still pitch black out i can see where im goin. It also didnt fit the camo flash light realyy good. I wouldnt recomend this filter and I am thinking about returning it."

"Filter is a light red plastic and appears more pink due to the high intensity LED. Would be better to have a red glass lens. Works OK and is inexpensive."

"These filters do what they say. One drawback is that they do not fit in the flashlight sheath when they are on the light. I don't know what will happen when I use the light for more than 10 minutes? I bought the blue filter for blood trailing, that usually takes more than 10 minutes. We will see."

"For the price this flashlight shines above the rest! I own several of the more expensive compact flashlights and thought I had the best, but boy was I wrong. By using this light and the green filter I was able to stalk my way to rousting turkeys undetected, find a great place to set up, and take my opening morning Tom!"

Excellent for Law Enforcement and Night Hunting,

"Excellent light for law enforcement, especially non-uniform assignments where eqipment needs to be concealed. It also makes a great back-up light when your main flashlight dies. The XPG is small enough to easily carry and it delievers a powerful, bright white, well defined beam of light. Also an excellent light to keep in the personal car for emergencies.
The red filter is excellent for night time predator hunting in those states where it is legal. The first night I took the XPG out I saw a set of eyes about 100 yards away. The animal had no reaction to the red filter and trotted towards me as if I was not there. When it got within 35 yards I saw it was a coyote and harvested it."
