"This was a terrible experience, but Cabelas made it right. Trying to find bags that work is a nightmare and they are expensive. I have used all levels of sealers and now think you either go with the frustrating less expensive ones or do like i did and finally get rid of the hassles and get the good Cabelas brand top of the line sealer. This one showed me no improvement over ones half the price."

"I have owned 3-vacuum sealers. I started with the less expensive ranging 100-119.00. The seal bar quickly overheats on these less expensive models and they are not always consistent on the tightness of the vacuum. They have also not made it past 2-years of use. We use ours everyday. During hunting and garden seasons quite a bit in a day.
I decided to upgrade my purchase with this unit and go commercial. The vacuum was consistently tight. The seal bar is a nicely designed heating element that pops out for easy cleaning. It does not have cheap sealing bar tape that wears out.
You must freeze items that you do not want crushed before vacuuming. The secund pump continues to draw even if you hit the immediate seal button.
I purchased this the unit October 11, 2009. I returned it December 23, 2009 for failure. It would vacuum and when the seal bar was activated the power turned completely off."

"Excellent sealing machine, it's so quick and easy to use! Not only do we have one but so do all of our family members and friends. I'd also recommend getting some of the vacuum rolls so you can make the bags whatever size you need, very helpful. Great buy for the money!"

"I would not recommend anyone purchase a product by ARY. I purchased the ARY VacMaster Pro 130 in the belief it would be an improvement over a smaller sealer that finally quit after several seasons of service. I was disappointed in the ARY VacMaster Pro 130, on the first two bags which were supplied with the sealer, it would not seal properly. I purchased a different brand of sealing bag and when I attempted to use the sealer it would not turn on despited repeated attempts. I contacted ARY customer service (per the instructions by ARY enclosed with the sealer) and after being on hold for an extended period of time I hung up and contacted Cabelas customer service. Customer Service at Cabelas jumped on the situation and asked that I return this obviously defective item directly to them. Thank you Cabelas!"
