Hunter's Specialties Deluxe Deer Drag,

"The harness fit is tight and difficult to get on, compounded even more so if wearing more than one layer. The harness fit is short in length and width at the chest and waist. The rope is too short which places your harvest on your heels while walking on flat terrain; on uneven ground your harvest will trip you up (and it did). While harvest is in tow, the shoulder straps have a persistent and strong propensity to move to the outside of your shoulders, even with the sternal harness strap cinched down, which then impedes chest expansion for breathing. As a result, the entire harness is pulled upward on the front of your body and downward on your buttocks; frequent stops are mandated to reposition the harness and straps. The shifting of the harness system will catch on your backpack or fannypack. This is the newer model, it does not have the D-ring* rope attachment, however the harness and rope remain the same.
*The models with the D-ring rope attachment are hazardous. While pulling a 70 lb feral hog on essentially flat terrain, the D-ring opened without my knowledge, ripped a hole in my shirt and scratched my back. I called Hunter's Specialties to report the incident, in which I was informed that mine was the only complaint of that kind and they would replace it if I paid to send the broken one back to them. That said, Hunter's Specialties' newer model does not have the D-ring. Very disappointed in HS Customer Service.
This is a product that looks great on paper, however has multiple design flaws for its intended use.
In my opinion, this product needs to go back to the drawing boards with product testing on prototypes prior to marketing."
