Perfectly Interchangeable,March 24, 2009

"So well so that you lose track of which was the original cylinder in the Confederate 1851 .44 Colt revolver. Cabela's extra cylinder flapped pouches are stiff. Maybe a little Linseed or Neetsfoot oil would help loosen up the black leather some."

Great Service,March 10, 2009

"I was very pleased with the 1851 Navy .44 spare cylinder I ordered from you and got in very good time. Most of my black powder purchases are through you, except for some esoteric, hard to find items that I find elsewhere."

It's Good to Have a Spare!,October 13, 2008
By JohninFortLaudfrom Fort Lauderdale, Florida
"I was at the shooting range and I inadvertently rammed two balls down the cylinder. I didn't know if I should try to fire them out or not. I chose to not fire them. I removed the cylinder and put in my spare cylinder and was careful to make sure I only rammed ONE ball down each cylinder! After a day of shooting, when I returned home and was cleaning the gun, I used a 1/8" brass rod to bang out the two balls that were rammed down the cylinder. The spare cylinder I had saved the day at the shooting range."

Not needed,January 31, 2008
By Kevind02from MD
"This item is not really needed for target shooting. It will take you as long to change cylinders as it will to reload the revolver. Save your money and reload!!"

"This product performs as advertised. The nipples I purchased work only for this cylinder which could be a problem."
