"I've always had great success with Warne products in the past so even though the mounts weren't right for the rifle they were ordered for I'm reluctant to give a scathing reveiw. They are some of the very best when they do fit."

"The 2pc bases worked great. Easy to install with the wrench provided. Also got the 1 inch rings and they were easy to put on the scope and attached neatly to the Model 7, 22-250 Predator rifle."

"these bases are a good value. while not as robust as leupold tactical bases, i think they will stand up to years of use without any noticable difference. they fit well and accepted the leupold tactical rings without a problem. these are much better than the cheaper imitation bases."

"These scope mounts are really well built and machined. Not the thin wimpy aluminum found on some others. I had to wait to receive them but it was worth it. I know they will last a lifetime. They enhance and compliment the Warne Rings."

"Its hard to find a 2-piece base for the Marlin 336 but these Warne bases fit the bill. I have them on a Marlin 30-30 and 35 Remington and both are tack drivers with the help of these bases not to mention how good they look instead of those full length bases. My next Marlin will be sporting Warne 2-piece bases."

"I got these bases for mounting a scope to my Marlin .30-.30 lever action. They fit well and were easy to install. The only thing I did not care for is there is a bit of play in the mounting holes. This allows some side to side movement when tightening that can lead to your scope being misaligned. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of. This was my first time mounting, boresighting, and sighting in my own scope and it went very well. I used these bases with the Warne rings. Very solid combination."

"These are the only rings and bases I will buy. They are rock-solid. I have them on two Ultra Mags and have never had to tighten them back down after install. I would also recommend the Warne Torque wrench for proper tightening."

"I am using this two piece base on a Marlin 336, with quick detachable Warne scope rings. These are very well made bases that support the lug on the scope rings across the entire width of the base. I have had the U style weaver bases cause a failure of the rings because they only suport on the sides of the base."
