A good addition to the harness,

"I bought the harness and used the strap that came with it. It's a little bit of a pain to thread the strap through the lanyard on the harness. The strap is slightly larger than the loop in the lanyard so you have to kind of fold it to get it through. This quick- connect is much easier because you don't have to tread the strap. This way you put the strap on the tree and then hook the carabeener to your lanyard. Very quick and quiet. This is definitely the way to go."

"This is by far the best way to use a safety harness. It's quick & simple. No more putting a strap around the tree every time you climb up, & when you are ready to go you are done in less than ten seconds. I would recomend this product to any one who loves to hunt with a tree stand. In fact my father in law saw it & liked the idea of it so much that he is buying one for himself."

"I purchased the quick connect tree strap last year and liked it so much, I wanted to make sure that my son had one too. There is no way I would let him in his treestand without it. We have a relative that fell out of a tree stand so we are extra cautious now."

"I have watched all the Pros on TV use this system. I was skeptical but it works very well and does not get in your way at all. Was woried that the leg straps would clang against metal stands but they don't. Great product and sure is worth being safe."

"With this strap, you need only hook your safety loop from the HSS to the carabiner provided. I just leave mine in the tree. Easy in and easy out. They ought to sell the HSS harness, lineman's belt and this strap as a package deal. The strap is big enough to get around big trees. The one provided with the harness, is not. So get one of these!"

simple but how will it hold up?,

"Love the idea/simplicity of the product. But now that I've had it up on my tree for about three weeks, I'm noticing rust on the "D" ring.
Also, since the product is basically just a nylon strap and a "D" ring, I have to believe it would be cheaper to simply buy each at a hardware store or something and make it yourself."
