Customer Product Reviews
These are the finest reproductions of vintage riflescopes you'll find anywhere. You can trace the history of their ancestors to the mid-1800s but experience better shooting than the originals, thanks to modern advancements in optics. Though they look like scopes you'd find in use during and after the Civil War, these deliver better performance with fully multicoated lenses and sealed-tube construction. All three models come with authentically styled mounts appropriate to the period. Available: 32" Malcolm ? An early-style long-tube scope with 6x magnification. Ideal for use with 1840-1860 period muzzleloading black-powder rifles. Comes with a "rabbit-eared" rear mount that's adjustable for windage and elevation. 18" Model ? A shorter version that delivers 6x magnification for use on many of the shorter black-powder rifles of the late 1800s. Includes a "caged" rear mount with adjustments for windage and elevation. 17" Model ? This 3x magnification scope would work well on replicas patterned after single-shot and lever-action black-powder cartridge rifles of the late 1880s and 1890s, especially the shorter carbines. It also comes with a windage- and elevation-adjustable "caged" rear mount.
