Most Reliable Waders, Year After Year,November 19, 2009
By MoKyFowlerfrom Louisville, KY
"Been using this series of waders since 1998.
First pair lasted 5 years.
Second pair currently on it's 6th.
Mine have held up very well, and I couldn't be happier. They are warm, comfortable, and reliable.
The only reason mine wear out is from the many miles that I walk, and yes, I mean miles! From the rice fields of Missouri, to the briar filled backwoods and sloughs of KY. You gotta get to where the ducks are, even if it means a good hike! Usually mine wear out in the crotch first, from the rubbing action of the neoprene when I walk. The neoprene wears down thin, and eventually starts leaking and is unrepairable. It's just something that you can't avoid, unless you ride everywhere you go. Maybe they'll beef up the neoprene in the crotch someday to counter this, but usually after 5 or 6 years, the boots are pretty well worn down too, so it's just part of it...they can't last forever.
The boots hold up well - only issue I've ever had with the boot was from breaking ice. A sharp piece of ice cut a slice in the boot at the ankle - no big deal. A quick patch that night and they were as good as new. Just part of it.
The fleece liner is great too. It keeps you warm and helps you cut down on the number of layers you need during those subzero days."

look else where for waders,November 11, 2009
By drake010from Ny
"just went thru my second pair of brush tuffs, the first pair on the second hunt they started leaking where the neoprene is glued the the boot, so i sent them back and cabelas sent me another pair, well this pair i've worn maybe 5 or 6 hunts and the crotch is leaking, before these waders i had a pair of lacrosse super tough waders and they did the same thing leaking seams, i didnt even get a full season out of them, after my 3 pairs of lacrosse waders i am going to try a cabelas pair, i am sick of getting wet!!! i guess i stayed loyal to lacrosse because i love there rubber knee boots but they have go to fix there wader seams, its absolutly pathetic, becasue the waders are nice, warm, comfortble, but with leaky seams that doesnt matter becasue i have been left wet and cold way to often!!!!!!!!"

Done it again,September 25, 2009
By Anonymousfrom Minnesota
"Lacrosse has done it again. Nice waders. Great warranty. They are plenty durable and the extra reinforcement in the knees is great. My pup even got ahold of them one day while I was at work. He drug them all around the back yard and they ended up under my kid's swing set in the sand. Used them that weekend...no problems."

Thank goodness for a good return policy,September 10, 2009
By 328dukfrom Pike County, IL
"I like the design of the waders but this is the second pair I have owned. The first pair started leaking around the seams in the crotch mid season after only wearing them a couple of times. Fortunately Cabelas has a great return policy and took them back. I have noticed a trend with Lacrosse waders they all leak in the same area around the crotch were all of the stitching comes together. This is going to be my last pair if they start leaking. I will move to the cabelas brand next.""
