"I bought this backrest for my atv and I love it so far. It is not meant to be used during riding, but it does work fine on smooth trails. The pouch on the back is nice for gloves and that is about it. Overall it is a nice extra for your atv."

"When my wife and I first started riding ATV's we ratchet strapped a cooler behind the seat which served as back support for her. The next day we always noticed small bruises on her back where she rubbed against the cooler and on a few occassions she fell off. We bought this seat with the backrest and she loves it; no more bruises on her back and she hasn't fallen off since we got it. The cooler fits snug right behind the seat and there is a waterproof pocket built-in behind the seat for whatever. The instructions are "Barney Proof" so my 14 yr old put it on for us. The only issue I have with the seat is the padding on the backrest...wish they made it just a little thicker."
