"I returned to retail sales last year after several years behind a desk. I am overweight, past middle age, and have very high arches too.
Six months on the floor and I had to go to a podiatrist for a couple of cortisone shots for a heel spur!
He recommended this insoles along with a particuler shoe, which I have reviewed elsewhere on Cabelas.
I tried the shoe as it came, but shortly added this insole and noticed immediate decrease in my level of foot pain.
Now I can move around enough to work on the overweight part of the equation."

"I always replace original footbeds with aftermarket insoles, primarily for increased arch support and proper foot alignment. The name of these insoles - Arch Plus, prompted me to give them a try. The insoles do provide some arch support, but they are much too spongy for hiking boots, creating a disconnect from the boot. If you work on your feet or stand for long periods of time, these would probably be great. If you need a supportive, foot aligning insole for active walking or hiking, they are just too soft. If you are used to the minimal cushioning but excellent support and alignement of Superfeet Green for hiking boots, spend the extra money - it's worth it."

"i have had these insoles for over a year. i can stand in them all day and my feet feel great. what i like most about them is that the arch on the insole is a foam, not a hard plastic. it gives support, but is also comfortable to wear. the overall extra cushioning is nice, too."
