Bore sighter works,June 30, 2009

"I have several of these bore sighters and they work well. You can get a scope sighted very close in the garage and save time at the range or at deer camp."

"you must remember nothing you buy to put in your bore is going to be "dead on", every bullet shoots different. having said that this is a great product. if it takes you more than 4 shot to zero your rifle after using this product then something is wrong."

Not Even Close,September 14, 2008
By JoWWfrom Crescent City,Ca.
"Very unhappy with 25-06/30-06 and 223 caliber. Zeroed in at 25 yards 16" low at 100 yards. 223 was 9" right. Barely hit on the target. 7mm within a few inches."

Works as adverstised,August 23, 2008
By ShootinFerFunfrom Illinois, near St Louis
"Nice addition to my bore sighting tools. The firing pin hits just a hair short of actuating the on button but placing a tiny piece of tape to the button solved that small issue. Sighted within a click or two on both axis and made final touches a breeze. Good purchase."

22-250 sleeve,October 30, 2007
By 2x4x4from Walla Walla, WA
"I would recommend providing a push rod to assist in removing the laser from the sleeve. In other sleeves which I purcased I received a push rod, but those were for larger caliber sleeves. I have difficulty removing the laser from this sleeve.
Other than that, it works very well and I would recommend it."

VaVol,October 15, 2007
By VaVolfrom King George, VA
"1) The bore sight sleeves cannot be automatically chambered by a Mauser/Winchester feed. When manually inserting the sighter and sleeve into the chamber, the bolt will not lock over the device. It locks up great in a Remmington-style push feed, however. Extended the throat and contouing it might help the feed for the Mauser/Winchester systems. 2) At the recommended 25 yard range, it would get you on paper, but that is about it. The laser proved to be less accurate than removing the bolt and eye-balling the target through the bore and setting the sights to that. When shots were fired at 50 or 100 yards from the laser set sights, the rounds were not even "on paper". It would appear that the bore sighter was not centered in the sleeve."

Don't do it.,October 8, 2007
By Oregonboyfrom Beaverton, Oregon
".223 lazer got stuck inside the .308 sleeve. It also was not a good enough, it would't chanber all the way. Without the action all the why closed the lazer won't turn on. I wouldn't suggest buying one of these."
