"Wearing boots daily I go through quite a few pairs. Have always avoided anything other than leather uppers, preferably solid one piece. Seams and whatnot always seem to fail. Carhartt has nailed something more modern. Excellent fit. Exceptional comfort. Great utility with the steel toe, reinforced heel, and outstanding sole. Treads almost seem to suction to wet surfaces they are so intelligently designed. Buy a pair. Will be my first of many."

"My husband purchased these boots for work and has been very happy with them. New boots always require some stretching and time to make them comfortable; steel toes require a bit more than a non-steel toe shoe. Buy these with the intention of wearing them a bit at a time and breaking them in; especially if you are not already accustomed to wearing a steel toe shoe. He has only been wearing them about one month, but so far is very happy with them. It would be nice to give this review again in about a year and see how well they have performed at that time."

"not that impressed. It was advertised as a more comfortable work boot inregards to walking . It suposed to have cussion in heel and in front part of boot. If its there, I don't feel it. I get more padding by putting on thicker socks. Disappionted but I'll wear them."
