"A four hour hike with four kids. I carried all the rain gear, snacks and water bottles. It is THE most comfortable day-pack I have ever owned. If it was hydration compatable it would be perfect. I am buying another for my wife."

"i have three northface backpacks and i love them all. the jester pack is a smaller pack perfect for school or for a light day out in the woods. i got the green one and it is much lighter green then showed in the image. i would say its more of an olive green. but still completly satisfied with the pack. as always cabelas had it sent super fast."

"My daughter has gone thru 4 bookbags since the beginning of the school year. The last pack we bought for her was North Face Jester pack. She has had NO problems with ripping stitching or anything. She actually loves this pack. I think it will last her for another 2 years of high school and more! Highly recomend this pack."

"My daughter needed a new backpack for the 2nd half of school. The sale price and quality of this could not be beat anywhere. She was satisfied except she wanted it to be purple but blue was pretty. This was for high school so you know it holds lots of heavy books. I recommend it."

"I bought this pack mainly with books in mind, but it would work great for a day hike. The removeable hip-belt is a great feature. I also like the over sized zippers on the main compartment- say goodbye to snags. The side water bottle holders are handy, too. Plus its The North Face - you can't beat that."
