"This is a very poor product.Lowrance and Mapselect will not stand behind the gps or the mapping . I would give it a 0 star if that was an option"

"i got this unit in mid august, as soon as i could get my hands on one in a store. i had been reading up on them for a couple months, and decided this unit should be great. i sold lowrance and eagle electronics in a sporting goods store for over four years and have always been a fan, but this unit changed me forever. the first trip i took with this unit was an archery elk trip, and on the second day i took the unit out of my backpack and the screen had cracked. the unit was not dropped, and i know very well how durable the old ifinder units are. the screen required so little force to crack, that all of the color is still working fine and even the touch screen aspect works....its just this outer shell of the screen that cracked. lowrance wants over $200 to fix this. its is not warrantied under any circumstances. the best part is, that the protective case i wanted to buy with the unit wasnt available till october."

NO ACCESSORIES? NO MENUS?, August 26, 2009

"I bought this unit because of all the hype about it and I was ready for a new high tech unit. I have 2 of the iFinders and like them so when the Endura models were introduced I couldn't wait to get one. The first thing I noticed was that the owner's manual is only 24 pages long. I was expecting 240 pages. It didn't take long to go through all the menus and it does have some nice features. The touch screen is great for moving around the pages. I breezed through them but kept looking for the menus for fine tuning the unit. I figured it would have all the iFinder's details plus more. I finally gave up and called the factory for help. What I found out was disappointing. The menu options I was looking for aren't there. I asked about down loading MapCreate files and found out you can't. The Endura series uses a different file system which isn't available yet. I asked about accessory maps and they aren't available yet either. It has "Turn by Turn capabilities but that accessary isn't available yet either. So what I bought was a real expensive basic GPS with a touch screen. When the accessories do become available and they put in the menus the iFinders have this will be a super unit but right now its a fancy plain jane. I sent mine back and got an iFinder Hunt."
