Bad to the bone broadhead,October 19, 2009
By massfrom ny
"now this is what i call a real broadhead.I have been bow hunting for 30 years and i am 42 years old.i have seen all kind of broadheads, recently i tried the new carbon express broadheads which i wasnt impressed with them at all and i think that they are waste of money.these broadheads realy impressed me,they are so sharp right out of the box that you have to be careful putting them on your arrows, also the tip is so sharp and strong which will go through any hardest bones, get a pack you will not regret it.i got 2 packs and i will be ordering more just to have them.happy bow hunting"

so far so good,August 25, 2009
By elitegt500from Illinois
"just shot this broadhead for the first time. ive shot 100 grain montecs the last few years and i am happy with them. i decided to shoot 125 this year and like the idea of 1 1/2 cutting diameter if they will fly like my field tip. i am shooting 298 fps and so far i am very happy with the performance. there was a moderate breeze and they shot perfect out to 30 yards. i plan on testing them at 40 and 50 later this evening. they will definitely be in my quiver this season. cant wait to see what kind of blood trail they leave!"

Good Groups!,June 21, 2009
By FredBearFanfrom Poth, Texas
"I shot these heads yesterday at 20, 30, and 40 yards and they all grouped exactly like my broadheads, right in the bulls eye. I give the head 4 stars for 2 reasons. First being I haven't used these heads on any game yet, and second after about 10 shots one of the blades got a little wobbly. I took the head off, switched the location of all the blades and screwed it back on. The blades were tight again so its not a big concern for me. Point of the story, 1.5" cutting diameter fly just like fieldpoints!!!!!"

G 5 Mag,May 4, 2009
By NebTurkeyHunterfrom South Sioux City NE.
"Finally someone has came out with a fixed blade in a 1 1/2" cutting diamiter that flies well. I have been hunting turkeys for 16yrs with a bow and nothing puts them down like a large fixed blade broadhead. Thanks G 5."

Nice Broadheads,December 7, 2008
By effinghunter24from Pennsylvania
"I've used these broadheads to shoot 4 does and a 9-point in the past 3 months. I've tested many other broadheads in the last 3 years, and i've settled on this one. To start off, this broadhead puts a huge hole in deer. The farthest any of my deer have ran is 80 yards, and that was only because i hit her back in the guts. When I walked up to her, she had about 2 feet of intestines hanging out of the giant hole (about an 1 3/4) this broadhead put in her. The rest of the deer ran no more than 50 yards.
What i've concluded through my studies of testing broadheads is that no fixed blade will shoot anywhere near where your field tips shoot unless you line up the blades on the broadhead with the vanes on your arrow. Aerodynamically, they have to work together or you won't get a straight flying arrow. Another thing that i've come to a conclusion to is that the less parts moving, the less you could have go wrong. i say this because if you have a fixed blade broadhead, you don't have to worry if your blades are going to deploy or not. Also, whether you want to believe it or not, a fixed blade broadhead has more penetration than a mechanical head. Period. I've had pass-throughs on every deer i've shot with these out to 25 yards with a #60 draw bow.
the last thing i want to talk about is the flight of these broadheads. As i said before, i've tested many broadheads, trying to find the best on the market. Well with the cutting diameter, you can't go wrong, but it could hurt you. I've shot these at many different yardages, and i found one flaw. Out to 20 yards, these heads will shoot in the same place your 100-grain field tips shoot. Anywhere past 20, they will drop drastically. Well, i saw that G5 had smaller cutting diameter broadheads with just about the same dimensions (G5 Strikers), so i figured that might allow me to shoot longer distances. Sure enough, i purchased the Strikers, and they allowed me to shoot out to 50 yards, putting arrows right where i was shooting field tips.
Now any archery hunter knows that wind can ruin a hunt. I don't care how good of a shot you are, you won't shoot in the place you think you are going to shoot in a high wind condition no matter what bow, arrow, or broadhead you are using; so have respect for the animal you're hunting and pass up that deer at 20 yards. There is an exception: if a deer is in 10 yards or closer, you should be able to make an ethical shot in a wind storm."

Deadly!,November 3, 2008

"If you could see the entry/exit holes I've put in two deer so far this year you'd order a set of the G5 striker magnums. Fly like field points and cut huge holes what else could you want?"

G5 Striker magnum,November 2, 2008
By smileyparker44from PA
"I think this is the best broadead on the market. This broadhead is the sharpest broadhead that I own. This broadhead shoots really good. I just shot a nice doe 3 weeks ago and it did not go very far and it left a huge hole it it. I cant find anything wrong with this broadhead. I could use the broadhead over again that I shot my doe with. I would just have to clean it, it is still razor sharp and the blades are not even bent. If anyone is looking for a broadhead I would go with the G5 stiker or the G5 striker magnum."

Awsome,October 23, 2008
By CG2204from Little Rock, Arkansas
"Theses broadheads are aswome. After a few hours in my climber, I got a little board so I figured I would do some walking around. After getting down I saw a bunch of squirrels running around so I figured why not. After hitting four squirrls and burying the broadheads in the ground, I still got a pass through shot on a nice buck 35 yards out. These things are one of the best. You cant go wrong buying these"

Striker Magnum,September 29, 2008
By Kansas1959from St. Louis county, MO
"I bought these broadheads to get a wider cutting-path than my regular Striker broadheads. Unfortunately, the Magnum Striker really flew inaccurately and not at all like the "field point accuracy" claim on the package. However, the regular Striker broadhead does shoot like a field tip."

Wait until you hear this!,September 3, 2008
By TheOldManWhoKilledALion
"Well, our friend just got back from africa a couple of days a go. He used his trusty TenPoint Pro Elite with TenPoint Carbon Bolts to get a lion. Now To make it even more interesting he shot it with this broadhead at 46 YARDS! The arrow went through the lion completely while cutting the veins and arteries at the top of the heart. After it went through the lion it stood up spun around twice and dropped. It moved a total of 6 feet! The blood was amazing. It looked as if someone turned on a garden hose! The guides said they had never seen anything like it. To top all of this off the shooter was an 82 year old man! I recommend this hea for something like this. But if you are looking for a good whitetail head the regular striker or the nap nitron will do just fine."
