This Parka has an outer shell made of a quiet, low-nap warp-knit fabric lined with a layer of waterproof, breathable Dry-Plus®. In addition, it has a removable heavy-weight fleece lining to seal in warmth without bulk. And, because we engineered it for layering, the outer shell fits as well on its own as it does with the liner zipped in.
Outer shell has two chest pockets, two lower cargo pockets, two handwarmer pockets, a large zippered gear pocket in back, two zippered interior pockets and two interior pockets with Velcro® closures. Velcro®-adjustable cuffs and a removable three-piece hood. Buttoned loop on neckline holds liner in place. Adjustable drawstring waist and bottom. Liner has two handwarmer pockets. Imported.

"This is a great parka. The lining is warm and not bulky. There are plenty of pockets for gear. The Mossyoak treestand pattern also works great in the snow covered ground floor as well. The tall sizes are true as well. I haven't had to deal with rain yet but I do have the bibs before the parka and the dry plus works great on them so I trust the Parka is no different. I have tested both items out in 10 degree weather with wind and couldn't be happier hunting."

"I have found my new parka to be as advertized. This garment is of superior quality and craftsmanship. I am not currently able to give feedback on its ability to be water repellant as the temperatures have not been above freezing however its warmth and fit are just what i was looking for. "The parka offers great versatility with the zip out fleece and is indeed very warm. The material is brush and jagger attractive, not resistant like the description states. Sat a few hours in the rain and thought the Dry Plus system worked OK. If you want to stay dry go with Gore Tex. Jacket arrived without one of the pockets sewn in and Cabela's replaced as usual at no cost. Overall, Ok jacket with great versatility. I've owned better products from Cabela's."

"I used the parka for both deer and moose hunting in northern Ontario. Lots of rain, some snow and several days with below freezing temperatures. I kept warm and dry.
I tend to sweat easily and the "breathability" of the parka is important to me. With a layer of "breathable" underwear and a "breathable" shirt the parka did its job and passed the moisture right through. The back of the parka was wet from both the weather and my perspiration, but I was comfortable inside.
The only critical comment I have is that I wish the sleeve cuffs were a little bigger. I found that I sometimes partially pulled the inner jacket out when I was taking the parka off and putting it on. But a minor concern. A good parka and , in my view, good value for money."

"I have used this coat over the last two hunting seasons. Never have I been unsatisfied with the results. I took this coat with me on a seven day hunt to Alaska. During the hunt it rained every day. From wind driven rain to light mist this coat never let me down. The coat works well as a warm weather rain coat and also has the warmth needed for late season hunts with the removable fleece liner. The design of the coat offers ample room for movement even when wearing layers underneath, but will not interfere with a bow string. If you wear it as a rain coat, you will want to wear waterproof gloves as well as the sleeves funel the water right down to your hands. Overall this is a coat that will last many seasons, is quite in the woods, and will keep you warm and dry no matter the weather!"
