The smoker is great - but not the cart, January 3, 2010

"I have had a Cookshack smoker for many years. The smoker is great. Based on the quality of the smoker I recently bought the stand. I can't believe they are made by the same company. The door to the cart does not close flush with the cabinet. The door is held shut with a magnet instead of a latch. Worse of all, the casters which make the cart roll screw into sheetmetal. I mounted my smoker onto the cart and rolled it out of my garage and onto the driveway to use - this was the first use. After smoking, I tried to roll it back into the garage. One caster stuck in the seam between the garage and the driveway and just folded up. It just bent the sheetmetal and the wheel is now crooked, won't roll and the cart now has only three wheels on the ground at one time. I am afraid to try to hammer it straight for fear the whole thing will snap off. By all means, buy a Cookshack smoker but don't fall for the cart."
