Bowhunters Beware!!!, September 22, 2009

"I purchased this jacket to hunt the early elk season here in Idaho. Before the season I washed this jacket in a scent killer detergent and I immediately noticed a foul odor. I then washed it again and the odor was still there. I washed it a total of four times in two different scent killer detergents and I could still smell this foul odor? Now once it was dry (Air Dried) it did not have this odor??? I contacted Cabela's and they never heard of such a claim from this product. They also suggested for me to return this jacket for an exchange.

I was leaving on my hunt in two days, so I did not have time to send it back to be exchanged. I went ahead and wore it on my week long elk hunt and I was even more unsatisfied. When the temperature drops down in the twenties, this dry-plus lining is very LOUD! So basically every time you move, you and the game you seek hear this jacket.

The only reason I gave this jacket two stars instead of one is because it is warm. This jacket would be better for fishing rather than hunting! Bowhunters Beware!!!
