good gloves, March 24, 2009
By btaylor from Benton, Maine

"I really loved a pair of the all leather motorsports gloves i bought a few years ago. Not only do i use them for snowmobiling but i wear them when plowing snow on my 4 wheeler and ice fishing. After several years of hard use the finger and thumb ripped out on the right hand so i ordered a new pair. I was somewhat dissapointed when i recieved my new pair that had been "improved". I actually preferred the older version. I am afraid that new version will not stand up to the abuse of the original since the leather has changed...soft leather palms and fingers...almost a suede. We shall see....Maine winters are tough on hands."

Great Gloves, February 11, 2009
By ACastelda from Tonasket, WA

"I cannot say enough about these gloves. I bought them and used them within the week on a 12 hour snomobile trip. IT was 5 degrees outside and snowing. Since there were several people in the trip we were always going on an off with the gloves. They stayed warm dry and I never had a problem. My hands and fingers never got cold. I got home and ordered a second pair."

A Little to Thin for My Blood, February 6, 2009
By undercover75 from Upstate, NY

"I purchased these last minute for a week long snowmobile trip in upstate NY. Lost old gloves. Subzero, windblowing, rolling at 50mph or so - you get the picture. As luck would have it my left handwarmer gives out, so I'm totally dependant on these gloves. My older FXR gloves were far better at beating the cold for the same money. I wouldn't recommend picking these up unless you plan on using a Gortex liner. Save a couple of bucks and pick beefier pair of gloves."

60 MPH Gloves, January 26, 2009

"THe gloves work pretty well, but they would be better advertised as 25 M.P.H. gloves"

Great gloves!, December 21, 2008
By snokid600 from Vermont

"I have been wearing my gloves snowmobiling at around 0 temperatures at 60-80 miles an hour and my hands stay reasonably warm which is very impressive. I hardly ever have to use hand warmers and on 30+ degree days, i have to take them off because they are too hot. Great gloves, warm, dry, comfortable, and a very reasonable price."

Cabelas Motorsports leather gloves, October 27, 2008
By Hodgie

"I live in Indiana and the weather has been getting colder at night. I work 2nd shift and was needing gloves to keep my hands warm on the ride home. The motorsports leather gloves are just great. They are real comfortable and warm. I am glad I bought them. I have shopped around at the motorcycle shops and gloves like these would have cost me $80 or more."

Gloves gone down hill, January 28, 2008
By Sledpilot from Ogden, Utah

"this years Motorsports Leather Glove is not the good quality glove of past years. The palm wear pad came off on the first use. The liner slides around inside the glove, and the leather is thin and weak.
Cabela's was good enough to provide a full refund when I returned the 3 pr I purchased.

Leather Motorcycle Gloves, January 16, 2008
By johnk57 from Los Angeles, CA

"Does not block wind at tips of fingers. Not good for 60 degree weather on freeway with no fairing. Bulky and slippery grip on clutch/brake lever and chrome grips. Wore while skiing and fingers froze in 30 degree weather. Overall-not good for cold, poor grip, bulky, nothing I like about these gloves. I thougth with Gortex and 100-g thinsulate, they'd protect better than my thin leather gloves with liners....they dont."

Motrosports Leather Gloves, January 8, 2008
By PF12 from Fredericksburg, VA

"I bought these gloves to use in my daily motorcycle commute. I ride 25 miles one way to work at Quantico, Virginia. I wanted gloves that were thin enough to allow for easy operation of the motorcycle controls but at the same time would protect me on a motorcycle with no windshield at freeway speeds during the coldest months of the year. I'm pleased to report they don't interfere with my operation of the controls and keep my hands warm even when temps drop into the high twenties. They also do a good job of keeping moisture out while riding in the rain. Gauntlets fit easily over my jacket sleeves and cinch easily."

Buy em - they work, November 14, 2007
By SV650Nut from Mid Indiana (Kokomo)

"I like these gloves. I ride (motorcycles) year around here in mid Indiana. So far these gloves work just peachy. I haven't used them in the rain yet because I have an old pair that I use for commuting, which is when I usually get wet.

For extream cold (below 25 degrees for me) I use some thin glove liners.

These gloves work at high speeds, February 27, 2007
By 72Chevman from Wichita KS

"I bought these to ride my motorcycle. I do a lot of riding early in the morning and late at night for military funerals in and around Kansas. We ride year round as long as the roads are dry, no matter what temperature it is. I rode 30 minutes at 30 degrees at highway speeds (60-70) and my hands stayed warm. Most guys without heated gloves used those air activated hand warmers and were still complaining about cold hands. I would not recommend these if you have no rubber or some sort of grippy material on your grips. The palms are a cloth material, which would make keeping a steady throttle impossible unless you have a grip like steel. My friend tried them with his grips and his hand hurt just after just a few miles in town from having to squeeze so hard. I guess if you had a throttle rocker it would probably be OK. My hand measured large. but they were too tight when I put them on and gripped my hand like I would be riding so I exchanged them for an X-large.

A+ for customer service too.
