Great winter boot,November 15, 2009

"I bought these a few months ago and wore them a little too soon in the hunting season, man are them warm. When the cold weather finally hit us here in Maine these boots outshined the rest. I found them to be a great hiker despite their heavy construction and yet I can still feel even the smallest stick under my feet. Sitting in my stand for seven hours last Saturday I stayed warm and comfortable throughout the entire day. I will say however that upon opening the box there is a strong rubber smell that is emitted from the boots. But, if you simply were them around the house or farm in my case for a few weeks before the season opens, the smell soon disappears. This is a trait of any rubber boot until it has had proper time to air. I spray myself and my boots with an odor killing spray and also spray a small amount of doe in heat scent directly to the soles of my boots and have seen deer tracks crossing my own tracks just hours after leaving them. So much for the rubber smell! None the less, it’s a great boot and I’m sure these will last me many years hunting “The Big Woods” here in Maine."

"What good is "Scent Suppressing Technology" when the boots themselves stink. When I sit in my stand wearing these boots all I can smell is the pundgent odor of rubber. It is like I have 2 brand new truck tires hanging from my stand. They are warm and comfortable, but the odor is terrible."

"Nice looking yet had to send them back.You have to add 1 or 2 shoe size to these boots.Also very tight all the way to the top of the boot on my leg's and I am average size and weight.Being a swamp whitetail bowhunter I need to tuck my pant legs inside my boots,no way with this boot.After trying the SST on for the first time I needed my wife to help me pull them off"
